任玉岭，联合国开发计划署可持续发展首席顾问，原为国务院资深参事，全国政协第九、第十届常委，国家教育咨询委员会委员，中国书画协会副主席，中国书画协会名誉主席，中华海峡两岸书画艺术家协会主席。

任玉岭既是科学家、经济学家、战略思想家，也是著名的书法家。他自幼练就了书法的童子功。他的书法创作虽然起步较晚，但一问世便不同凡响。他曾先后连续六次获得了共和国六十年大庆书展、辛亥革命100周年书展、文化部百名艺术传承人书展、海峡两岸书画交流展以及阿斯塔纳国际文化展金奖。

任玉岭不仅被14所大学聘为教授，还被55种杂志聘为主编和编委。他被誉为中国改革智库四十人之一，中国发展五十人之一，为农业作出贡献的三十人之一，中国当代书法名家五十人之一,中国房地产论坛五十人之一，中国式现代化论坛专家四十人之一。

共和国成立七十周年之际，出版界为填补书法大红袍出版物的空白，通过推荐和遴选出版了《共和国第一部书法大红袍·中国近现代书画艺术名家任玉岭》一书，彰显了任玉岭在书法界的地位和影响。由他撰写的《草书诸葛亮出师表》、《狂草怀素自叙帖》等受到读者的欢迎。2020年人大、政协两会官网特别推荐任玉岭为德艺双馨艺术家。2023年人大、政协两会官方又将任玉岭推选为献礼艺术家首席代表。他的书法作品曾被人多次拍卖，捐给了慈善事业。2016年在广东东莞一次拍卖中，任玉岭的书法作品就拍出120万元，除10%留给任玉岭购买纸笔外，其余100多万在现场捐给了中国扶贫大王。

任玉岭因在童年受其父亲擅长书画影响，除了成为著名书法家外，他还利用空闲提笔作画，取得了不凡的成绩。他善于向前人学习，在继承的基础上进行创新，他创作的花卉，禽鸟，扇面，山水，都显示了他重传统，重善美，重实践，重创新的世界观和方法论。

这些年来，任玉岭又特别捐款70万元，用于推动河南老家的乡村振兴。任玉岭还依据社会的需要和百姓对他的期待，通过收藏和创作，先后在河南信阳，北京昌平，福建厦门，浙江长兴捐建四个“任玉岭收藏及作品展览馆”，均在1000平米以上，皆为永久性展览馆。

Ren Yuling is not only a scientist, economist, strategic thinker, but also a famous calligrapher. He has been practicing calligraphy since childhood. Although his calligraphy creation started relatively late, it was extraordinary as soon as it was published. He has won six consecutive awards, including the 60th anniversary of the Republic's Daqing Book Fair, the 100th anniversary of the Xinhai Revolution Book Fair, the 90th anniversary of the Communist Party Book Fair, the Ministry of Culture's Hundred Art Inheritors Book Fair, the Cross Strait Calligraphy and Painting Exchange Exhibition, and the Astana International Cultural Exhibition Gold Award.

Ren Yuling has not only been appointed as a professor by 14 universities, but also as the editor in chief and editorial board member of 55 magazines. He is known as one of the forty think tanks of China's reform, one of the fifty people of China's development, one of the thirty people who have made contributions to agriculture, one of the fifty Chinese contemporary calligraphers, one of the fifty people of the China Real Estate Forum, and one of the forty experts of the Chinese path to modernization forum.

On the occasion of the 70th anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic of China, in order to fill the gap in the publication of calligraphy Dahongpao, the publishing industry recommended and selected the book "The First Calligraphy Dahongpao of the Republic: Ren Yuling, a Chinese Modern Calligraphy and Painting Master", highlighting Ren Yuling's position and influence in the calligraphy industry. His writings such as "The Memorial of Zhuge Liang's Expedition in cursive script" and "The Autobiography of Huai Su in cursive script" have been well received by readers. The official websites of the 2020 National People's Congress and the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference highly recommend Ren Yuling as an artist who excels in both morality and art. In 2023, the National People's Congress and the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference officially elected Ren Yuling as the chief representative of the tribute artist. His calligraphy works have been auctioned off multiple times and donated to charitable causes. In a 2016 auction in Dongguan, Guangdong, Ren Yuling's calligraphy works sold for 1.2 million yuan. Except for 10% left for Ren Yuling to purchase paper and pens, the remaining 1 million yuan was donated on-site to China's poverty alleviation king.

Ren Yuling was influenced by his father's expertise in calligraphy and painting during his childhood. In addition to becoming a famous calligrapher, he also used his free time to paint and achieved extraordinary results. He is good at learning from others and innovating on the basis of inheritance. His creations of flowers, birds, fans, mountains and rivers all demonstrate his worldview and methodology of valuing tradition, goodness and beauty, practice, and innovation.

In recent years, Ren Yuling has donated 700000 yuan to promote rural revitalization in his hometown of Henan. Ren Yuling also donated and built four "Ren Yuling Collection and Works Exhibition Halls" in Xinyang, Henan, Changping, Beijing, Xiamen, Fujian, and Changxing, Zhejiang through collection and creation, all of which are permanent exhibition halls of over 1000 square meters, based on the needs of society and the expectations of the people.
